At Ascend MC, we are passionate about our city. After years of prayer and building relationships, God has given us several ministries that serve as our “Community Programs”. Through these community programs, we are reaching people of all ages in the Denver area by showing them God’s love in practical ways. We believe in taking God’s love beyond the walls of our church; all of our programs are designed to use our disciple’s gifts in creative ways so that we can go out and make a difference in our community.
With the support of our city, the Mayor’s office and Code Enforcement, we are able to help elderly and disabled within our community through servanthood projects.
Ascend is also reaching out to the youth of our community with dance, music, althetics, creative writing and mentoring programs.
We strive to create a positive atmosphere for kids to come and enjoy fellowship together while doing the things they love. We also have the privilege of going into local schools, such as Pinnacle Charter School and Federal Heights Elementary to work with the different students there.
With all of these programs we have established, we are able to better reach the hearts and needs of those within our community.
